Nuevo IVA Digital para Compras de Bienes en el Extranjero
Entra en vigor el 25 de octubre de 2025
El Servicio de Impuestos Internos (SII) implementará un nuevo régimen de IVA para la venta remota de bienes adquiridos a través de plataformas digitales o comercios electrónicos extranjeros, conforme a la Ley N°21.713 sobre Cumplimiento de las Obligaciones Tributarias.
Este sistema busca mejorar la equidad tributaria en el comercio internacional, asegurando que las compras realizadas en plataformas extranjeras también contribuyan con IVA en Chile.
🔸 ¿A quiénes aplica?
A consumidores finales (personas naturales o jurídicas no contribuyentes de IVA) que compren bienes por hasta USD $500 a través de plataformas extranjeras.
🔸 ¿Qué cambia?
Si la plataforma está inscrita ante el SII, retendrá y declarará el IVA automáticamente.
Si no está inscrita, el consumidor deberá pagar el IVA a la importación.
